The University will observe the following twelve paid holidays for 2008:

*Please note: The University will be closed on Friday, January 2, 2009 and everyone must take a vacation day. Anyone who does not have a vacation day available will have a non-paid workday.

Any departments requiring employees' presence on any of these scheduled holidays (due to registration, etc.) should arrange for a substitute day(s) for the employee(s) within that month, approved by the supervisor. It should be noted that the Memorial Day holiday has been moved to the Christmas holidays. Anyone wishing to be off on Memorial Day must take a vacation day.
