| Description: |
The Assistant Director of Housing Facilities
and Operations is responsible for the
primary functions necessary for the efficient
and effective day-to-day operations of
University Housing. These responsibilities
include facility management, fee assessment,
assignment / occupancy management, move-in
/ move-out procedures, conference services,
budget management and long range planning.
The Assistant Director will work very
closely with the Residence Life Staff
to ensure effective property management.
This position will be expected to collaborate
with service vendors, contractors, plant
operations, financial services and other
stakeholders to build systems that enhance
operation processes and improve customer
service and student satisfaction. The
assistant director will be expected to
serve in a duty rotation with the Director
of University Housing. The position reports
to the Director of Housing and Residence
Life.

| Qualifications: |
-Bachelors
degree required.
-Masters degree Preferred but not required.
-Minimum of three years experience working
with residential facilities and/or occupancy
management setting.
-Comprehensive and applied working knowledge
of student development theory preferred.
-General knowledge related to facilities and
operations, construction and/or project management
in residential setting.
-Proven budget management/fiscal analysis experience.
-Proven skills in managing staff.
-Experience in program/process evaluation and
assessment.
-A working knowledge of SCT Banner or other
enterprise student information or occupancy
management software highly preferred.
-Excellent communication skills and collaborative
and team oriented work ethic.
-Strong organizational and administrative skills
and evidence of "systems" thinking.
In addition, successful candidate must be
able to work a very flexible schedule
without advance notice and be willing
to carry a cellular phone. Must be able
to access all areas of campus (including
bending, stooping, and climbing stairs)
and lift 40 pounds. Valid Georgia driver's
license or the ability to obtain one is
required.
Employment is contingent upon successful

Range:
$35,000 - $40,000
