The Department of Medical
Technology at Armstrong Atlantic State University
invites applications for a full time (9 month)
academic year non-tenure track position beginning
August 1, 2008.
Teaching responsibilities will include lecture
and laboratory components in all areas
to be determined in consultation with
department head and via team teaching
with other faculty. Other duties include
participation in university, professional
and community service activities, student
recruitment, and other academic requirements
as assigned.

| Qualifications: |
The qualified applicant must be verified
as a medical technologist (ASCP or NCA).
Other minimum qualifications include a
graduate degree and three years of clinical
laboratory experience. Essential job functions
require ability to lift minimum of 25lbs.
(bench top laboratory equipment), good
vision to utilize laboratory microscopes
and excellent dexterity for detailed lab
testing procedures. Should have valid
Georgia driver's license with personal
transportation to travel to off- campus
sites. Excellent communication skills
needed and must possess computer technology
skills (Email, PowerPoint, etc).
Employment is contingent upon successful
completion of a background investigation.
