Armstrong Atlantic
State University invites application for a
tenure track position at the rank of assistant
professor in the Department of Biology. The
appointment will begin August 2008, pending
budgetary approval.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a
strong commitment to undergraduate teaching,
develop research programs that engage
students, and provide appropriate service
to the department and institution.

| Qualifications: |
A Ph.D. in plant biology or a related field
is required. Candidates with expertise
in plant physiology or development are
especially encouraged to apply. Teaching
duties will include courses in plant biology,
participation in the introductory biology
sequence, and other courses appropriate
to the candidate's area of specialization.
Employment is contingent upon successful
completion of a background investigation.

Armstrong Atlantic
State University is a four-year coeducational
senior unit in the University System of Georgia

It is located approximately twelve miles south
of the historic district of the city of Savannah
