| Description: |
This position coordinates and administers
the university's testing program. Administers
computer-based and paper/pencil testing
programs for undergraduate admission,
graduation, professional certification,
graduate and professional school admission.
Selects and hires testing administrators
and proctors. Will provide training of
all staff working with Testing Services.
Supervises a Graduate Assistant for Testing.
Assists in the coordination of the University
Orientation Program to include new and
transfer students and parents. Designs
and implements the Parent On-Line Newsletter.
Coordinates the Transfer Student and Non-Traditional
Orientation programs. Assists with selection
and training of student leaders, program
design, orientation publications, on-line
registration processes and program assessment.
Monitors the budget activity for Testing
Services, Orientation, Student Health
Fee, Leadership, Graduate Student Coordinating
Council, Graduation and Office of Student
Affairs. Coordinator will report to the
Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs.

| Qualifications: |
Bachelors
Degree from an accredited institution. Masters
preferred. Two years experience in an educational
setting preferred. Demonstrated computer literacy
and ability to use computer technology to access
information, maintain records, prepare testing
reports and create an on-line newsletter required.
Strong organizational skills are necessary
in planning major test administrations and
working on projects related to new student
orientation. Must be able to work some evenings
and weekends as needed to accommodate testing
and orientation schedules.
Able to learn and administer AASU and University
System of Georgia polices to ensure compliance,
process expenditures and analyze billing
on accounts. Ability to access all campus
facilities and handle and move boxed tests
to those facilities. Comfortable working
with students on an individual basis and
able to present information to groups.
