| Description: |
The Registrar serves as the University's
academic records officer and has primary
responsibility for managing the daily
operations of the Offices of the Registrar
and Veterans Affairs. The Registrar is
responsible for the following functions
personally or through Assistant Registrars
and team members: Establishes and implements
department goals, objectives, policies,
and operating procedures; Monitors and
evaluates office efficiency and effectiveness;
Effects changes required for improvement;
Manages all registration activities (including
fee payment verification); Manages Transfer
Service Center operations; Processes residency
petitions and out-of-state waiver applications;
Maintains the integrity, accuracy, retention,
and security of student records; Certifies
enrollment, degree completions, and athletic
eligibility; Creates schedule of classes,
final examination schedule, and is responsible
for scheduling of instructional space;
Oversees Veteran Affairs operations and
CTAMS administration; Ensures university-wide
compliance with FERPA regulations and
serves as data steward overseeing the
release of directory/non-directory student
information; Monitors collection of grades
and issues/maintains academic standings;
Ensures compliance of university academic
regulations; Assists in the on-going management
of student information system to support
enrollment related functions; Submits
required USG system data/reports and monitors
Regents' Test completion; Serves as Liaison
for Off-campus Center operations; Serves
as a key team member in a highly integrated
Enrollment Services Division.

| Qualifications: |
Master's
degree plus six or more years of administrative
experience in a records/registration office;
a high level of conceptual, analytical, and
organizational skill; and a demonstrated record
of leadership. The successful candidate will
be innovative and have in-depth knowledge of
integrated student information systems, excellent
oral and written communication skills, and
ability to create and maintain collaborative
working relationships to support programs and
policies as established by federal, state,
administrative, and academic entities. Extensive
experience with the Sun Guard/SCT Banner Student
Information System is highly desirable.
Employment is contingent upon successful
completion of a background investigation.

Salary commensurate
