Full-time position
available in the Business & Auxiliary Services
Department to perform accounts payable functions
in order to ensure adequate separation of duties.
Other responsibilities include match and write-up
PO vouchers; audit AP checks prior to release;
fold and seal Banner and AP checks; vendor
set up and maintenance; audit check requests
for completeness; look up vendor numbers and
addresses and review for duplication and PO
numbers; and process entertainment contracts.

| Qualifications: |
Must be able to work with faculty, students,
and staff. High school diploma and two
to three years experience in accounting
required (two year business degree, preferably
in accounting, desired). General knowledge
of office procedures and accounting procedures
required. Must have basic computer and
analytical skills, as well as exposure
to general accounting procedures; knowledge
of office procedures; working knowledge
of Excel; and substantial experience in
financial environment. Experience with
PeopleSoft accounting system preferred.
Must be able to sit and work at a computer
terminal for extended periods of time.
Ability to access accounting system and
obtain needed information, and the ability
to communicate effectively and interact
with all levels of the university community
also required. Computerized skills
testing (math, 10-key, and data entry)
required as a part of the application
process.
Employment is contingent upon successful
completion of a background investigation.
