invites applications for a one-year position
at the visiting assistant professor level beginning
August 2008. Applicants must have a commitment
to and evidence of teaching excellence. Likely
teaching responsibilities include Industrial
Organization, Labor Economics, or other applied
economics courses to be determined with the
successful candidate, and principles of economics. |

Minimum qualification is ABD in economics;
a Ph.D. is preferred.
Employment is contingent upon successful
completion of a background investigation.

Armstrong Atlantic
State University is a four-year coeducational
senior unit in the University System of Georgia
and has an enrollment of more than 6800 students.
It is located approximately twelve miles south
of the historic district of the city of Savannah
on a modern 268 acre campus. The core mission
of the university is a strong liberal arts
education for all students, and the strategic
directions of the university are applied science
and technology, teacher education, health professions,
